Ho postato una risposta ma mi hanno consigliato di presentarmi con un messaggio a parte per cui mi presento: sono un appassionato di moto cruiser, hobbista meccanico, viaggiatore, con la mia XL1200C 2004 ho girato tutta Europa da Copenaghen a Lisbona, mi piacerebbe guidare una moto più grossa ma per problemi alla schiena la mia Sportster è il massimo che posso guidare.

Grazie dei saluti, a tutti coloro che pensano che sarebbe meglio per la schiena una moto più comoda ricordo che disgraziatamente il problema non è la comoditÃ* ma il peso. Infatti i microtraumi che si ricevono alla schiena su di una moto grossa sono esattamente analoghi a quelli di una moto leggera percorrendo la medesima superfice, la differenza consiste nello sforzo che si può scaricare sulla colonna vertebrale nelle manovre da fermo e nei movimenti concitati che possono essere indotti da manovre d'emergenza. Per un discopatico operato anche il sollevare dal cavalletto laterale un bestione da 350 kg con la muscolatore fredda può essere fatale. A parte i problemi tecnici per i medici la moto non la dovrei nemmeno vedere in fotografia, io me ne frego e ci vado lo stesso nei limiti del possibile.

Ciao.

Ho visitato il tuo sito e mi ha colpito questa frase, nella descrizione della Wild Star: "Questa moto ha una estetica fantastica, da delle belle sensazioni, ha una rumorositÃ* ovattata e si guida benissimo."

In questo forum non si fÃ* che parlare di cambiare, bucare, storpiare gli scarichi, rischiando l'ergastolo per sentire la vera voce del motore mentre invece tu lodi la rumorositÃ* ovattata.
Ma una moto deve poter parlare, anzi gridare, altrimenti se non la senti che gusto c'è?

Per la veritÃ* ho letto sempre con molta attenzione tutti i tuoi interventi relativi agli ammortizzatori posteriori ed alla forcella. Effettivamente anch'io ho notato come entrambe i componenti non siano adatti per una moto di queste prestazioni. La riprova l'ho avuta questa estate in Spagna, durante un allungo in velocitÃ* (in veritÃ* molto sostenuta) ho preso una buca e la moto ha iniziato a serpeggiare violentemente per molti metri con relative conseguenze per il mio intestino tanto da indurmi ad uno stop igenico immediato per non sporcare la sundower nuova. Hai avuto altri riscontri analoghi?

La riprova l'ho avuta questa estate in Spagna, durante un allungo in velocitÃ* (in veritÃ* molto sostenuta) ho preso una buca e la moto ha iniziato a serpeggiare violentemente per molti metri con relative conseguenze per il mio intestino tanto da indurmi ad uno stop igenico immediato per non sporcare la sundower nuova. Hai avuto altri riscontri analoghi?

Poi c'è chi come me PRETENDE anche qualcosina di +, io ho un Dyna Super Glide Sport 1450 e mi piace andare allegrotto http://www.webchapter.it/smiles/happy7.gif , xrò per poterlo fare bisogna giungere ad un giusto compromesso fa hard & soft.

Nel tuo caso la terrei + sul soft visti i problemini alla schiena, considerando anche il fatto che la nostra cittÃ* ha un pavè che fÃ* cagare.

Certo, si può migliorare ulteriormente la ciclistica e la sicurezza del mezzo, anche xchè il 1200 nuovo credo che a volerlo far andare viaggia benino, o sbaglio?

Si, sicuramente ha delle prestazioni notevoli, nel caso in esame ero a circa 200 kmh e la velocitÃ* c'era perchè constatata da un amico su un VFR. Quando ho parlato dell'accaduto con i meccanici Harley mi hanno risposto: "lei non deve andare a 200 con questa moto!". Hanno ragione ma il "momento del *******e", come lo chiamo io, è sempre in agguato, nel caso specifico il mio amico sul VFR ha aperto la manetta e io.... come un *******e l'ho seguito. Non lo dimenticherò fin che campo! In conclusione la nuova sportster 1200 non è adatta ai *******i...e, di seguito alla tua risposta, apparentemente non può neanche essere adattata per questa categoria di riders!

per quanto puoi modificare sospensioni, freni, cerchi etc non la renderai MAI sicura come una stradale a 200 km/h... aò è sempre un custom

io penso che se uno vuole andare a 200 è meglio che si faccia una jap..ma poi....200????? ohooooooooooo
io non ho grande esperienza ma la sportster mi sembra che riesca a mediare bene la strada con la cittÃ*.....me ce diverto come cor motorino a 15 anni http://www.webchapter.it/smiles/happy1.gif

RomorisitÃ* ovattata vuol dire: piacevole suono che non fa soffrire. Io sono 40 anni tondi che vado in moto e l'orecchio destro è al 50% del sinistro. Quando fai 600 km a 3/4000 giri preferisci la rumorositÃ* ovattata al "grido del motore". In ogni caso sulla mia Sportster ho i terminali Screaming Eagle e se devo fare più di 200 km uso i tappi!
