Sella Mustang e compatibilità heritage

Gente ho trovato una sella mustang a buon prezzo. Si tratta di un modello che montava su un softail heritage springer del 99. Il venditore dice che andrebbe bene anche sulla mia FLSTCI heritage del 2006, 1450.

Qualcuno sa confermarmi dato che compro da un privato?
Gradite, come sempre, anche opinioni e giudizi.

Devi guardare il codice articolo, poi sul sito Mustang seats trovi la corrispondenza con l'anno della tua moto. Ciao:happy5:

Il fatto è che il venditore non riesce a identificare il codice articolo.... forse non c'è scritto sulla sella o semplicemente non lo trova.

L'articolo è lo 75142 che non è più a listino. Però le selle fino al 99 hanno un codice, mentre la stessa sella dopo il 2000 ne ha un altro, quindi teoricamente non dovrebbero fungere. Ora però solo per la heritage, specificano che le selle che vanno sulle moto springer dal 2000 al 2003 vanno anche sulle Heritage dal 2007 in avanti. Io non so,, ma ci sono state modifiche al tuo modello fra il 2006 ed il 2007?

No, non penso ci siano state modifiche ai 1450 dal 2006 al 2007

This seat has all the features to make it our most popular seat. A full front bucket for the rider is trimmed with a braided edge skirt that comes down over the frame and fender for a clean, uninterrupted look. Passenger seat angles forward to support the rider’s back.
All 2000-06 models require the stock rear mounting bracket be removed from the stock seat and bolted to the Mustang. If the stock bracket is missing use Mustang bracket #78037 or H-D #52467-00.

Questo "rear bracket" da smontare dalla sella originale e rimontare nella mustang dovrebbe essere la linguetta che sta dietro al sellino passeggero....

Non so se può essere utile, sulla heritage classic 2000-2006 se non erro la sella è fissata con due viti sotto, dal 2007 dovrebbe avere le due viti dietro sul fender come quelle della springer
