VANILLA FUDGE TO TOUR EUROPE WITH THE LIZARDS

NY - The legendary VANILLA FUDGE (Carmine Appice, Tim Bogert, Bill Pascali and Teddy Rondinelli) have announced their upcoming tour of Europe, beginning March 10, 2004, in London. The tour will cover Scotland; France; Belgium; Germany and Switzerland, and will feature tracks from their current release THE RETURN, as well as their new CD WHEN TWO WORLDS COLLIDE (which will be released later this year in DVD-format as well); the album that The Fudge recorded late-last-year with the 52-piece San Fernando Symphony Orchestra. The show will also feature the track "Do You Think I'm Sexy" which leader-Appice co-wrote with ROD STEWART (whom Appice appeared with for 7 years). Also featured will be the track "Superstition" which Appice, Bogert and JEFF BECK recorded. Says Appice, 'We love playing in Europe and from our last tour there in September, the demand was overwhelming for us to return. Great crowds ... great enthusiasm.' Appice is just starting up recording a new CD with guitar-legend PAT TRAVERS, called TRAVERS 'N APPICE - TNA. That package will be released later this year.
Opening all of the dates for The Fudge will be THE LIZARDS (John Garner, Patrick Klein, Randy Pratt and Vinny Appice). Appice -brother of Carmine and a notable drummer in is own right (Vinny played with the original line up of DIO for many years and last played with Europe with Black Sabbath's original line up including Ozzy) - subs for regular-Lizards drummer Bobby Rondinelli, who has conflicting dates with Blue Oyster Cult. Says The Lizards Randy Pratt, "With the two Appice's in tow and our vocalist John Garner, who used to play drums in the legendary Sir Lord Baltimore, we have one of the most impressive drum-family trees in all of classic rock.'
